1. Take time to understand your plan benefits and how to use them. Some benefits (e.g fitness membership, vision and hearing, transportation, etc) need you to contact the vendors who provide the services. Keep their contact info for your reference. If you’re not sure what additional benefits you have, you may contact the member service. The number is located on the back of your member ID card
  2. For those of you who have an HMO plan, please check your member ID card to make sure that the Primary Care Doctor shown on the card is the correct doctor whom you chose. If it shows somebody else, please contact the member service immediately to change your primary doctor. This applies to health and dental HMO insurance
  3. Paying your premium automatically every month with your credit card or bank draft is a great idea. It prevents a gap in coverage due to non-payment, plus one less task for you to do.
